Holly Bellomy with Holly Bellomy Interiors scored another goal with this imaginative, sports-themed child’s room. Tasked with creating a room that reflected this young boy’s favorite sport, soccer, Holly proved once again that she puts the ‘fun’ in functional. The room highlights this popular sport in many ways, and includes:

  • A framed soccer jersey

  • Soccer ball display shelves

  • A soccer-field ceiling

  • Soccer goal netting on the valance

  • Light-up hexagonal shapes resembling a soccer ball

  • Sconces resembling soccer balls

  • Letters spelling ‘Goal!!!’

This creative room also features:

  • Soft touch storage drawers underneath the bed

  • A fully functional rock wall

The young boy that this room was created for wanted a space that reflected his favorite sport, his favorite color, and his fun personality. Blue, his favorite color, has been incorporated in the duvet cover, the LED lights, and the rock wall-one of the most unique aspects of this room. It is completely functional and adds a level of both youth and fun to the room. Floating shelves add more space without taking up much, and allow this boy to display his favorite items without cluttering his room. Books and toys can be switched as this child grows older so that his room can grow older with him. We love this room because it is creative, exciting, fun, and functional.
