Handmade Custom Made Furniture and Decor

While looking for a local company to make a custom dining table out of a client's reclaimed barn wood I stumbled upon this fabulous website, CustomMade. You can find handmade items such as dining tables and chairs and jewelry. You can also ask for a custom piece of furniture that will be made just for you.Here are some of my favorite handmade items for the home.1. The first item is this Ikat pillow by Samantha Gale Designs. Ikat prints are so popular right now along with indigo and navy colors. I also like that the back of the pillow and the cording is a different color. The green is a fun surprise and if you get bored of the it you can just turn the pillow around and boom, you have a different look. This design looks great with traditional. eclectic and contemporary designs.2. Applewood Furniture makes this wonderfully textured mirror out of faux porcupine quills. This one is my favorite with gold tipped quills! There are other options as well. This mirror would look splendid over an entry table or between a pair of etageres!3. Lone Star Artisans makes this Anigre executive desk. This geometric design made of anigre veneers is stunning! I can see this desk in a rustic, contemporary or traditional space.4. This table from MTTHRMN Fine Furniture is so clean and chic! There isn't one screw in this dining table. This custom made piece would be perfect in a mid-century modern, contemporary, eclectic or traditional space.5. The black walnut counter stool by Moldovan Studio Furniture has an amazing natural aesthetic. This handmade stool will last for generations.And there you have it!
