Baby Girl Nursery Ideas Part 4
This is part 4 where we will talk about lighting for the nursery for sweet baby Faith!Less than year before Faith was born, Annette and her husband were selected to be parents of another baby girl whom they named Grace. They drove to another state to take care of this premature baby who was born addicted to drugs. That didn't matter to my friends. They loved that baby girl and took care of her round the clock in the NICU. After many long days, the birthmother changed her mind and told Annette and her husband that they could not be the parents of her baby. This felt like another crushing blow; but Bill and Annette did not lose hope.God is faithful! He knew that another baby would be conceived and that she would be loved by Annette and Bill. Faith was born in November and just a few short weeks before she was born did Annette and her husband learn that they were selected to be her forever parents! Annette was present for her birth and held her dear baby girl for the first time. This moment was long awaited as she prayed for a child of her own. Annette and I cried tears of sadness together for years prior to Faith's arrival and now we cry tears of joy!Now about that lighting! It's always fun to incorporate something old and something new. I found this milk glass lamp on Ebay and thought it would be perfect for Faith's nursery! Well, actually, I found the lampshade first! Then I had to find a lamp. That is not as easy as you would think! This cute hobnail milk glass lamp is just darling with the lampshade from Target.Annette sent this photo. The ceiling light fixture should be pretty and sparkly so this little number from Pottery Barn Kids will do the trick. Annette and I think it looks like Cinderella's carriage! Ha HaThis nursery has been so much fun! Come back next week to see what I have cooked up for the wall art!XO,Holly
