All the elements of a home including the furnishings, art, materials, lighting, and personal decor can support these positive feelings and moods.Through the use of color, scale, balance, texture, and light a home can lift a dark mood and boost creativity. Just as a cluttered, disorganized space causes stress and anxiety, an organized space will evoke feelings of peace and calm.
My recent client had much turmoil in her heart and life. She needed a home that functioned and felt (physically and psychologically) soft, calm and, happy. She needed an environment that nurtured her spirit. We selected a cool color palette with warm wood tones and plenty of pattern. The master bedroom is feminine with linen and down, loads of charm and soft color to support relaxation. Now she wakes up in comfort and when she returns to her home she is greeted by cheerful color and imaginative style.With integrity authenticity, Holly Bellomy and her team are able to provide a design experience that is like no other.
