What do wakeboarding and running a small business have in common? (Plus my wakeboarding video)

What do wakeboarding and running a small business have in common? (Plus my wakeboarding video)I went wakeboarding today for the first time!  I went with my husband and I watched him wipe-out and suck up a lot of water through his nose.  Then it was my turn.  I was excited and a little nervous.I wiped out several times and experienced the rush of water up my nose before I was able to find my groove and glide along the water.  I kept telling myself, "You got this, you can do it!"  I was determined to get up on that board for an entire length without crashing into the water.Wakeboarding reminds me of my home staging business.  If you had asked me seven years ago if I would like to own my own business one day, I would have said, "No way, that would be too difficult, I know nothing about operating a small business."  Now, after almost six years, I find myself saying, "You can do this, keep going, don't stop because you are feeling overwhelmed and the results are uncertain."The thrill of overcoming an obstacle and learning something new motivates me.  Sometimes the results of my efforts are disappointing but when I look back at where I started and then look at where I am now and I can see great progress!I am pleased to share that in addition to our fabulous staging services, Dallas Real Estate Staging now offers the following:

  1. Custom drapery panels and valances
  2. Window shades and coverings from Hunter Douglas
  3. Custom upholstery and fine furnishings from Drexel Heritage, Lexington and more!
  4. Designer art, accessories, and lamps
