Creative Wall Art for Kids' Bedrooms
Creative Wall Art for Kids' BedroomsDo you need a little inspiration for your kid's room? Here are my favorite ideas for boys and girls rooms. You know I will have to try one or two of these!Cover a cork board with some cute fabric. You can use spray adhesive to adhere the fabric and finish the piece with trim. Hang your favorite quote on a wall. I like the dimensional aspect of the letters. You can also use a group of words such as love, family, smile, hug. For sports players try score, kick, and goal. My boys always had hundreds (I may be exaggerating a bit) of little cars. Look at this cute way to make them look like art! When they grow up and their interests change they can display other items on the shelves. To make an impact make sure to install at least three shelves. In lieu of a headboard you can install one large shelf above the bed. Just make sure that you hang it high enough so that when your child sits up in bed he doesn't hit his head! If you have a child who draws or paints, this idea would be perfect! Group colorful cards, posters or original works of art and frame then and hang them on each side of the bed. The key is to take them all the way to the ceiling. Paint a large cork board with a bold color and hang this and that on it. I wouldn't try this if your kids are very young. If your kids are like mine, they will poke each other with the pins or worse, try to eat them! I hope these ideas have inspired you. Let me know which one is your favorite!Happy decorating,Holly
